Pope Leo XIV Urges Peace and Respect for Venezuelan Sovereignty After Escalating Crisis


 

VATICAN CITY: Pope Leo XIV on Sunday appealed for peace respect for Venezuela sovereignty and the protection of human rights as the crisis in the South American nation intensified following the capture of President Nicolas Maduro by United States forces.
