| Michael Symon Says Trump Can't Eat At His Restaruants |
If GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump plans on eating in downtown Cleveland for the Republican National Convention, he won't be able to at any of Michael Symon’s restaurants.
“There’s not a chance I’d let him into one of my restaurants,” the celebrity chef said with laughter during a phone interview with 92.3 The Fan Thursday morning.
Originally calling in to defend the communal seating at Mabel’s, his new BBQ restaurant on East 4th Street, Symon shared how he really felt about the businessman-turned-politician when the topic turned to potential parties during the RNC.
When asked by 92.3 The Fan’s Matt Dery about whether or
“Anybody that knows me knows that I’m not afraid to speak my mind.”
Now didn't we have a couple of Christian bakers fined $100,000s for not making cakes for gay couples? Seems like liberals think they can have it both ways.
It looks like its time to boycott Symon's restaurants and ABC's The Chew.
We have had many business lunches at his restaurants in the past......but will not in the future.......

WHO would want to eat food knowing he might have prepared it in that manner??? Anyway, he's yet ANOTHER coward who's projecting onto Donald Trump because he might lose some unruly, psychopathic patrons who feel TOO superior, TOO entitled to behave properly.
ReplyDeleteIm so ashamed that I have watched your show most days,if you have a public place of business you have to serve anyone that enters as long as they are dressed decently and not causing a distrubuce, Just because you may not agree with someone is no reason to deny them service the same service that you give to every other customer.

If you are an actor/actress then act. If you are a chef then cook. So on and so forth. Keep your political views to yourself. I don't care

I am sick and tired of people who speak to hear themselves speak, especially when it is stupid. Entertainers should entertain and chefs should cook, so an and so forth and stay out of politics. I as a consumer will not be supporting those who have spoken out stupidly. I can watch anything and eat anywhere and because I can do that. I will support others who don't show their stupidity openly. We as consumers should boycott those who don't need to voice their opinions on anything other than what they know and stay within those guidelines. We make them who they are and elevate them. Some should be knocked down a few levels.

ReplyDeleteWe used to support Michael Symon in all his endeavors, such as his show on The Food Network, The IX Center Food Show, The Chew, and ALL his restaurants... until he rudely made a public statement that Trump was not welcome in his restaurants during the RNC in Cleveland last summer. We will no longer give him our business after he embarrassed our city. If you see this, Michael Symon, know that many Clevelanders think you were very WRONG to do that, and you owe our President an apology as well as an invitation to dinner next time he visits our great city!

However, since he embarrassed Cleveland when he made the statement that Trump was not welcome in his restaurants and he would not serve him dinner during the RNC last summer, we have cut all ties to anything relating to him. Michael Symon, if you see this post, know that many Clevelanders think you were 100% WRONG to do that and you owe our President an apology and an invitation to dine in your restaurants next time he visits our great city! It's called RESPECT and you should have known better.
