Venezuela's defense chief delivered a defiant message Saturday declaring the armed forces will not give up or surrender under any circumstances as the country faces one of the most serious crises in its modern history.
Speaking in a televised address the defense chief said the military remains united loyal and ready to resist any attempt to break the nation warning that pressure threats and force will only strengthen Venezuelas resolve.
We are standing firm he said We will not give up and we will not abandon our country
The statement comes amid growing uncertainty regional tension and intense international scrutiny as events continue to unfold inside Venezuela.
