A 21-year-old illegal immigrant / "Dreamer"

 has been found guilty in the 2010 slaying of Joshua Wilkenson a Pearland texas teen in 2010.

A Brazoria County Texas jury convicted Hermilo Moralez, who was charged with murder in the beating death of his missing classmate, Josh Wilkerson District Court.

Wilkerson's partially burned remains were discovered in a Fort Bend County field, where his body had been dumped with his hands and feet bound.

The week before Thanksgiving 2010, Wilkerson disappeared after leaving the campus of PACE Center, Pearland school district's alternative high school.

Wilkerson was murdered by an illegal immigrant who, because he came to the country as a minor, would have qualified for Obama’s 2012 executive amnesty granted to illegal immigrant minors — or so-called DREAMers, whom Obama insists “belong here.”

Colorado will not pick a Republican candidate for president in its 2016 caucus after party leaders approved a little-noticed shift that is likely to diminish the swing state's clout in the most open nomination contest in the modern era.

The GOP executive committee voted Friday to cancel the traditional presidential preference poll at the caucus after the national party changed its rules to require a state's delegates to support the candidate that wins.

 "We just didn't think in this meeting anyway, they should be bound to somebody when there could possibly could be a large number of candidates," said Colorado Republican party chair Steve House.

"I think if there were only a few candidates it would be a different story." he said.

The move makes Colorado the only state so far to forfeit a role in the early nomination process, according to experts, but other states are still considering what to do.

"It takes Colorado completely off the map" in the nomination process, said Ryan Call, a former state GOP chairman.

The Colorado system often favors non-establishment candidates who attract a dedicated following among activists — as evidenced by Rick Santorum's caucus victory in 2012. So the party's move may hurt GOP contenders such as Donald Trump, Ben Carson or Rand Paul, who would have received a boost if they won the state. This move favors the Establishment candidates such as Jeb Bush who is not doing well in the polls.

Colorado will likely remain a swing state - but with no need to campaign so early in the race, our state could get less attention early on.

Colorado fundraiser for Republican Representative Scott Tipton stunned this week when he called Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz as a “jackass,” to people in attendance.

According to attendees Boehner said that he likes how Cruz’s presidential campaign keeps “that jackass” out of Washington.

That remark rubbed many attendees the wrong way.

Appearing on "The Hugh Hewitt Show," the Republican presidential candidate called Boehner's reported statement "just wrong."

"I think it's just wrong," Walker said. "Even though I don't know Sen. Cruz as well as I know some of the governors, I've grown to know him and like him and admire him quite a bit out on the campaign trail.

At that press conference, Jorge Ramos clearly crossed the line between reporting and editorializing. His behavior was more akin to that of the transgender amnesty activist who recently interrupted President Obama at the White House, rather than that of a professional reporter. He should know that to the extent he continues to ramp up his advocacy approach to the journalistic profession, he is operating outside the confines of honest journalism and his credibility will deservedly suffer as a result

Vet With No Friends Or Family Has 800 Show Up At His Funeral

There can still be some faith in humanity as acts of kindness

and charity are still around.

Hundreds of people turned out in Lancaster, Kentucky, to provide a military funeral to a United States veteran they didn't even know. 

Vietnam veteran Don Kaas died at age 66 at a VA hospital in late July. 

The hospital was unable to locate any members of the former sailor's family, so an owner of a local funeral home stepped in. 

After the remains went unclaimed for a few weeks, Lancaster Funeral Home owner Shane Young decided to post about it on Facebook. 

He said he was hoping that at least a few people would show up to pay their respects, but the response quickly "snowballed."

"It was an overwhelming response. We knew that night something special was happening," said Young.

With support from local veterans organizations, an estimated 800 people showed up to honor Kaas and provide him with a full military funeral.

Not much is known about Kaas. He served on a submarine during the Vietnam War and later moved to Kentucky because he loved horses.

Breaking: Not Enough Votes To Expel Todd Courser And Cindy Gamrat

Sources are stating that Speaker of The House, Republican Kevin Cotter does not have the votes to expel Todd Courser and Cindy Gamrat.

The Democrats under Minority House Leader Tim Greimel want an independent investigation.  They want to know why

Cotter did not bring the alleged affair and cover up to the attention of the House back in May when it was first reported according to Courser/Gamrat Staffer Josh Cline.

The Democrats are wondering if the Republican Leadership intentionally held this information at hand until it best benefited them.  Was Todd Courser's request to Attorney General Bill Schuette asking him to investigate the questionable Arlen Meekhof - Ron Boji new senate building purchase the reason why this information was now released?
