Big Debt On The Prairie to Big House In Washington? Melissa Gilbert Tax Problems Could Stop Her Campaign

Half-Pint also known as Laura Ingalls Wilder from Little House on the Prairie played by actress Melissa Gilbert, wants to run for Congress in Michigan's 8th Congressional District. 

The 51-year-old Democrat, who moved from California two years ago to Howell Michigan after marrying actor Timothy Busfield, will run for the 8th District, which stretches across three counties from the northern Detroit suburbs of Oakland County to the state capital of Lansing and has been in GOP hands for 15 years. First-term Republican Rep. Mike Bishop of Rochester won last year after then-House Intelligence Committee Chairman Mike Rogers decided not to seek re-election.

The problem with Melissa Gilbert running for Congress is that she is more than a half-pint short on her federal taxes. So Gilbert has a problem paying her fair share yet she is eager to run for Congress and spend other peoples money.

The IRS has stated she has failed to pay more than $360,000 of federal income taxes. This came to light in June

of this year when Gilbert and her family moved out of their rented house near Downtown Howell Michigan.

It has also been reported that she owes $112,000 in back taxes to California.  Is this perhaps why she fled her state and came to Michigan?  

What is interesting is while she can't pay her federal and state taxes it is a dog's life her French Bulldog Josephine.  Gilbert says Josephine has her own stylist and wears a Lous Vuitton collar.  The struggles of not having money and not being able to afford your taxes.

If she manages to become the nominee in Michigan's 8th District she will more than likely face incumbent Congressman Mike Bishop who is a known name in Michigan.  Bishop is known for his battles as Senate Majority Leader  with then Democrat Governor Jennifer Granholm.

BREAKING: STATE REP TODD COUSER'S AND CINDY GAMRAT'S COMPUTERS AND PAPERS SEIZED

Michigan State House officials have seized all computers and paper records from State Representatives Todd Courser's and Cindy Gamrat's offices. This is an investigation as to whether taxpayer funds were used to hide their relationship. 

Speaking to the media, Keven Cotter said "All evidence is protected.  Nothing can be deleted.  We have the servers.  We have all of these things.  So there's nothing that's at risk of being lost at this point."

The story of a potential affair broke about a month ago when Brandon Hall of West Michigan Politics got a tip and reported the story.  The story broke wide open with the release of a recording potentially showing Todd Courser incriminating himself to a staffer.

those in Lansing to playball or the recording would be released.  In an attempt to throw the blackmailer off Courser said he created false flag e-mail.

Courser in his response today blamed his staffers for the blackmail and that they were part of the establishment of the Republican Party.

House Minority Leader Tim Greimel, D-Auburn Hills, called Monday for an independent investigation by Republican Attorney General Bill Schuette’s office.

“The allegations of wiretapping, blackmail and the use of taxpayer dollars to cover-up an affair between (Courser and Gamrat) ... are serious and demand a full and impartial investigation,” Greimel said in a statement. “There is no place in the Legislature for people who are engaged in criminal conduct, and when accusations of this magnitude are raised, the taxpayers of Michigan deserve a full investigation.”

Todd Courser in the wee hours  Monday morning.  In that rambling 27 minute file , State Rep. Todd Courser invokes Christ numerous times, acts like a pastor that has sinned, calls himself a broken messenger and asks for forgiveness   He implies, but does not specifically state that he had a sexual affair with Cindy Gamrat. He also says he's been working with his wife for months on marital issues and that he alone orchestrated the email issue. He also asks forgiveness of Cindy Gamrat's husband and family, as well as of his supporters.   Courser then goes on and names longtime allies  Josh Cline, Ben Graham and Keith Allard, as the ones releasing personal information and blaming them for the release of false flag email and affair scandal involving him and State Representative Cindy Gamrat.

Courser states that they have been spying on him since the day he took office back on January 1st of this year.   Many that I have spoken with over the past few months have questioned why Todd Courser had these three on his staff as they are political operatives and have ties to the establishment.   It seemed like an odd fit, they said.   Courser in his audio file states though that he has known Josh Cline and his family form many years and that their families did things together as the reason Josh was on his team.

"They had no administrative ability" and "They didn't have the  9-5 mentality.  Sometimes they showed up late and sometimes not at all."  

Courser also says in the recording that he started getting blackmailed May 19th of this year and he decided the best way to throw the blackmailer off was to create a false flag to try to throw them off. Hence he created that now famous e-mail.

Courser accused the political establishment of blackmailing him to get him to do what they want.  Now there could very well be some truth to this, but Todd Courser should have known what he was getting himself into when he became State Representative.  Todd was and still is a lightning rod, as his methods are brash and combative against the current regime that runs Lansing.   Because Todd put himself out there as one that is a man of God and that he believed God was guiding him,  and that he was going to shake things up and clean up Lansing, that put a bullseye on

his back.

Courser also said that he does not plan to resign.  In the audio file he says "I could have resigned but that would have let my personal issues rule the day and would have been submitting to the establishment machine."

Our opinion from our Friday August 7th article though has not changed and we believe based on the actions of Todd Courser that he should resign not only for the honor of the position but for the betterment of his constituents.  

There is also now breaking word that the red flag involved in this scandal may not have been Todd Courser's first attempt at a red flag to confuse "the herd" (as he likes to call his constituents in the recording held by the Detroit News) .  The story that is now breaking is that Todd Courser may have also created a red flag days before his primary in July of 2014.   In a post dated July 30th 2014, Course states that flyers accusing him of being a child molester are floating around town.  This flyer did give him the sympathy vote and he won his primary election by 300 votes. Here is what  he said on his facebook post that day:

What happened last night was disturbing to say the least.

I have committed to running a campaign on the issues that matter for the people of Lapeer County and to move our state forward. I know everyone gets a little out of sorts coming down to the end of a campaign and there are clear campaign issues that need to be fleshed out and worked thru; then there is negative campaigning or character assassination. For the last two weeks Lapeer County voters have been subject to the baseless lies and outright deception from my opponent and her liberal billionaire backers. Mail piece after mail piece, 8 of them in fact, have been sent to smear my name and my business, but what happened last night is one of the most despicable things I have ever seen or heard in politics.

The pictured flyer (which implies that I am some sort of sexual offender) was found behind the Lapeer County GOP headquarters, Rogers Pharmacy, and a few streets throughout downtown Lapeer. I was made aware of this and the person that notified my filed a police report on the matter. This is really regretful that this campaign has descended into clear character assassination. I, sincerely would hope and pray that none of my opponents or any of their supporters where behind this despicable activity. It just does not fit into civil society.

Look, I am not sure how to deal with all of this anymore? These personal attacks have reached a point where they are nothing but hurtful to me and my family. They are shameful and have no place in political discourse or any other for that matter. I am a political candidate, but am I first and foremost an imperfect follower of Christ, a husband of 17 years, and a father of four. I have been in business in this community since the mid 1990’s and I honestly I am at a loss for words at the actions of those who want to smear my name. Folks, the best thing you can do is don’t vote for those who want to sling mud and drag people down in the public square.

An Article About Safety For Women Leads To A War Of Words And Bullying By A Sterling Heights Michigan Mayor

Earlier today I wrote an article that confirms that Transgenders May Look Like Women But Are Really Men With Manly Desires.  The article was based on Bruce Jenner still being interested in women even though he was surgically altered to look like a woman from the waist up.  This exposed the dangers of allowing transgenders in to opposite sex restrooms and locker rooms.

This raised the ire of current Sterling Heights Mayor Michael Taylor as you will see below from the screen captures.  He even went to far as to try to bully me by posting a picture of myself and my girlfriend who passed from cancer earlier this year.   

Michael Taylor became mayor of Sterling Heights by a fluke.  He was a sitting councilman last year and voted for this ordinance, but former Mayor Richard J. Notte died late last year after a battle with cancer.  Michael Taylor was not elected by the people but was appointed Mayor by the majority vote of the Sterling Heights City Council.

Last summer Sterling Heights, Michigan  passed a non-discrimination ordinance by vote of council and mayor.  The public did not have the opportunity to vote on this issue.  The law said it was to  protect lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender residents and visitors from discrimination in housing, public accommodations, and employment and carries a maximum fine of $500 for each violation. 

 There were more than a couple of issues with that ordinance.  The main two issues were it violated one's religious objection to behavior that went against their own beliefs.  

Christians as do Jews believe that God makes no mistakes.  God created man and God created woman.  Why should a business owner who is Christian have to violate his beliefs?  Is that itself discrimination?  

The other main issue is it put into play males and females freely going into each others bathrooms "public accommodations".  If a male decided to dress the part of a woman so he could fulfill his perverted fantasies, what would stop him?  As you will see from the screen shots below the Mayor Michael Taylor, who is an attorney by day, seems to think this is perfectly fine.  He questions whether a transgender had ever attacked a woman in a restroom before as he could not find any proof.  Since Mayor Taylor is an attorney would would have though he would have had better investigative skills.  

But to answer Mayor Taylor's answer, yes instances have occurred and common sense, which Mayor Taylor and much of the Sterling Heights City Council seems to be lacking, dictates it would.  It is human nature.

PALMDALE, Calif. (KTLA) — A 33-year-old man was charged Tuesday with allegedly dressing as a woman to secretly videotape women using the restroom at a Macy’s department store.
 Jason Pomare was arrested Saturday after a customer notified store security that a man was in the lady’s room acting suspiciously.
 The woman told security officers that the man was wearing a wig and was dressed as a woman.

 SAN DIEGO — Police Sunday arrested a 30-year-old man who was wearing a pink tutu when he allegedly attacked a woman in a toilet stall at a Big Lots store in Clairemont.
Investigators identified the suspect as Gregory Schwartz, who was arrested around 5:40 p.m. in the area of Clairemont Mesa Boulevard and Diane Avenue, San Diego police Lt. Chuck Kaye said.

About 40 minutes earlier, Kaye said, a woman who had entered a toilet stall in the Big Lots store at 4829 Clairemont Drive was “confronted by a male who had crawled under the stall she occupied.”

Surveillance video showed the man was wearing “a tutu-type thing” he took from the store, Kaye said.  “The suspect grabbed her and attempted to sexually assault her,” he said.

Toronto Canada -- A biological man claiming to be ‘transgender’ so as to gain access to and prey on women at two Toronto shelters was jailed “indefinitely” last week after being declared by a judge a “dangerous offender.”
 Christopher Hambrook, 37, leaned on the ever expanding legal “rights” offered to people who “identify” with the sex opposite their biology. Under the name “Jessica,” he was able to get into the women’s shelters, where he sexually assaulted several women.

One has to question Mayor Michael Taylor's judgement as to why he thinks this is not a concern.  Would he be concerned if a man went into the same restroom or locker room that his wife and children were currently in?  The myopic thinking of Sterling Heights leadership should be a concern for all Sterling Heights residents and those that come to the city to transact business or recreation.  Keep in mind, Freedom Hill is one such major attraction that draws thousands to many events.

A promo for this week's episode of "I Am Cait" casts doubt on Bruce Jenner’s alter ego “Cait”’s sexual orientation, but even though he thinks he is a woman, his choice has not wavered an inch -- he's not attracted to men.

So the question must be asked as numerous communities are allowing transgender’s into opposite sex restrooms and locker rooms are we giving the key to perverts that would normally not have access to those areas?

You can try to change your look but you cannot change your biological make up.

The Strange Disappearance Of Jeremiah Foco

Washington software engineer Jeremiah Foco disappeared 18 days ago in Seattle, Washington and since then, his close-knit group of friends has taken every avenue possible to find him.

"There is no such thing as, 'Sorry, we're busy,'" Jocelyn Coimbre told Dateline NBC Monday. "There are 20, 25 people working every day doing things, four or five of us full time, basically. It's draining."

When exactly Jeremiah vanished is still somewhat up for debate. Surveillance footage shows the 34-year-old pulling into the garage of his apartment complex in Seattle's International District on July 22 at 12:07 a.m. There are also images of a man who Jocelyn says looks and walks like Foco captured the following morning at the bus station he frequently takes to get to work. But then again, that man may not be him.

 “A lot of us are working until 9, 10 o’clock at night,” said Jeremiah’s friend Jocelyn Coimbre, who is organizing search efforts. “If there was nothing else to do we would just hope, but right now I just feel like there’s so many things that haven’t been thought of.”

"There are a lot of rumors going around and unconfirmed information. But what we do know is: He's not at his apartment, he didn't show up for work and he never contacted anyone," said Coimbre. "Maybe he didn't take the same path he normally does to work, maybe he stopped to grab a coffee and the system where he swipes his bus pass was down, so he rode for free. Who knows?"

Despite a lack of evidence, no proof of foul play, and the hurdles with come from searching for a missing adult, his friends and family say they are not giving up.

They have been tirelessly hanging flyers around Seattle’s International District where Jeremiah lived, and anywhere else he could have been spotted; talking to people who travel the same routes at the same times; traveling his bus route; looking for any shred of evidence – anything that might help find Jeremiah.

Jeremiah’s parents, Ed Foco and Renay Charchan of Standish, Michigan, made the trip to Seattle to try to help with the investigation. Detectives collected DNA from Jeremiah’s parents while they were there.

Jeremiah Foco is 6’2” tall, and weighs 220 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes. He may be wearing tan shorts, a green shirt with yellow writing, a red baseball cap, and white socks and sandals.
