The producer of ESPN’s ESPY awards show admits that honoring the former Bruce Jenner with the Arthur Ashe Courage in Sports Award came not through any vote but a decision she made in consultation with her staff.

This whole award to Jenner is so absurd that even liberal NBC Sports commentator Bob Costas took note of it as well.  Costas said that “it strikes me that awarding the Arthur Ashe to Caitlyn Jenner is just a crass exploitation play, a tabloid play. One other thing, yes I know Disney owns both ESPN and ABC, but if it is the ESPN awards show shouldn't it be on ESPN rather than ABC?
