BOMBSHELL: Michigan State Freshman Reps Todd Courser & Cindy Gamrat Caught in Extramarital Affair - Try Covering It Up

First reported by Brandon Hall of  West Michigan Politics a month ago, it can now be confirmed that Freshman Republican State Representatives Todd Courser and Cindy Gamrat had an affair and the Detroit News has the recording proving the affair and a cover-up e-mail.   Todd calls his constituents "the herd" and that they need to be "inoculated" from the truth.

Two years ago many conservatives were questioned as to why they jumped ship and voted for Bobby Schostak for State Chair over the Todd Courser for State Chair and Cindy Gamrat for Vice Chair candidacy.  These conservatives, who were Christian Conservatives could tell that Todd Courser and Cindy Gamrat were faux conservatives and not practicing what they were preaching.

State Representative and Speaker of the house Kevin Cotter has now opened a formal criminal investigation to determine if staffers, were used or requested to assist Todd Courser and Cindy Gamrat in the attempted concealment of their affair and if these staffers were fired for their non-participation. 

A few have asked if this recording of Todd Courser was legal and it appears it is. A Michigan Court of Appeals ruling said that participants in a conversation may record a discussion without getting the permission of other participants. “A recording made by a participant is nothing more than a more accurate record of what was said,” the court decided in a 1982 case.

It is the opinion of Setting the Record Straight as well as many others, that both Todd Courser and Cindy Gamrat should resign.  They have been an embarrassment to Christian conservatives, their constituents and Michigan as a whole.  Their sordid affair will cost taxpayers additional funds as special elections will need to be run in their respective districts.  Many looked up to these two but they chose their own self interests above their constituents and even worse, their families.

UnLincensed Planned Parenthood Remains Open In Michigan Government Regulators Silent Upon Complaints

A Planned Parenthood office in Kalamazoo remains open for business even though their license expired over 3 years ago.  How is this possible?

According to the Michigan Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA) office the license for Planned Parenthood's operations ended July 31st, 2012.

A  Louisville Kentucky dad  says he did what he had to do to protect his teen daughter's privacy. He

says he noticed a drone with what looked like a camera, hovering over his daughter. So he ran inside, got his gun and shot it down.

"I didn't shoot across the road, I didn't shoot across my neighbor's fences, I shot directly into the air," William Meridith said to local media.

That's when he says four men cam onto his property.

"They asked me, 'Are you the S-O-B that shot my drone?' and I said, 'Yes I am,'" he said. "I had my 40 mm Glock on me and they started toward me and I told them, 'If you cross my sidewalk, there's gonna be another shooting.'"

A short time later, Merideth said the police arrived.

"There were some words exchanged there about my weapon, and I was open carry – it was completely legal," he said. "Long story short, after that, they took me to jail for wanton endangerment first degree and criminal mischief...because I fired the shotgun into the air."

He's now facing felony charges.
