The people behind the most recent attacks on Dave Agema are agenda driven, progressive leaning, Fifth columnists. We are at a crossroads in America as Persecution of Faith and people of Principle is a daily part of our Lives. The radical homosexual agenda is the spear point being used to destroy good men of character who dare to take a stand, speak out, and espouse principles.  The current attacks calling Dave Agema a racist are no accident, nothing is more toxic in our current culture than Racism, it is the Logical Weapon of the moment, based on the current issues and struggles facing America.

 

   I am a lifelong republican, I proudly voted for Ronald Reagan, and have cast a straight ticket ballot my entire life until 2014.  As I watch people of faith continually shunted to the side, Taken for granted, and publicly Ostracized, I can no longer NOT stand for Faith and Values FIRST! I will stand with Dave Agema, even if it costs me any and all political capital I may have.  A third party is not the option I want to see, but it will be the only option left, if CHRISTian Constitutional Conservatives are thrown to the Jackals yet again.  There is an awakening occurring in this once great nation.

Dave Agema is outspoken, he speaks plainly and clearly, he is easily understood by the common man, the Principled man, the people seeking truth and Hope in a world gone mad.  Does he mince words or temper his voice? Of course not. That is precisely why he is so respected and Loved among His Friends, Supporters, and constituency. That same Frankness and Outspoken Truthfulness, also makes him the obvious target for those looking to drag down those of values and Principle. It also unfortunately makes him an easy target, as too often the easy way out is the way chosen by so many, without the same Moral Fiber.

The decision is a tough one.  If you choose to call for Dave Agema’s resignation, or force him to resign, the press will go into overdrive. The Jackals will declare victory and bray at the moon from the rooftops. They will announce you a hero, for a short time. Then the target on Agema’s back will be transferred to others, possibly yourself, whispers will be made about your judgement. Why did it take so long?  Who else stood with Agema? where do we focus our hate and vitriol next? Mobs rarely die down quietly or quickly, even when appeased.  Another thing will also Happen. People of Faith and Conviction will take a step back yet again and sigh in despair. The republican Party has yet again bowed to the hate of the intolerant leftist agenda. The 4 million people who stayed home in 2014, will shelter further into their homes. The Tea party, already facing Persecution and attacks, will begin to look for other options to focus their energies and Passion. The 1/3rd of voters on the verge of leaving the Party will see another reason to do so.  Do not believe that Values voters will continue to be taken for granted.

If instead you stand firm, rally the forces, call out the lies for what they are, you will still be attacked, The press will still rally and demonize you. The Homo-fascist agenda driven activists will still bray from the rooftops. They will call for your head, and that of others. However, you have a choice, make the story bigger. Let the attention create a wave that turns into a tsunami like the one that Happened for Chik-Fil-A. Stand firm and the Public will rally to the cause as they did when a bunch of Duck Hunters defied the hollywood machine, the Pop culture media, and a Strong Christian Family stood with their Patriarch, becoming Heroes to the average American. Refuse to bow down, and instead state your principles and values, and watch the kind of public support that Bolstered Hobby Lobby arise from the trenches.  The republican party could ride the wave of Dave Agema’s core values resolution into the next election. (and I could proudly again capitalize where needed).

I Urge you to contact General Jerry Boykin, Col Allen West, and Dave Agema.  Please help instill the Principles of Faith in the party, that so many of us are seeking, by drawing a line in the sand and saying enough. We will not retreat any longer for the sake of Political correctness. We will not bow to threats, Bullies with a secular agenda, and hate driven Anti Christian rhetoric.

You Mr. Priebus stand in the breach. It is up to you what the message will be of the next few weeks. Will yet another Warrior be thrown to the Jackals, or will you instead raise the shields, stand united, and stand firmly for the truth.

Race for Republican Chair In Michigan Heats Up: 4 Candidates In - More To Follow?

As of  the initial filing deadline of Monday January 5th, 2015 four candidates have  filed to run for Michigan Republican Party Chair.  Mitt Romney's niece, Ronna Romney McDaniel of Northville, Kim Shmina of Fair Haven, David Wolkinson of Birmingham and Joel Poynter of Baldwin 

 Former State Rep. Pete Lund of Shelby Township, who expressed early interest, has yet to decided whether he will run.

 Other potential candidates could still meet the requirements for a late filing deadline by January 22.

Other potential candidates include longtime conservative activist Norm Hughes and Former State Rep. Tom McMillin. Current 14th District Chair Paul Welday is officially out and backing Romney McDaniel.

Reports on Facebook indicate that Norm Hughes maybe considering jumping in.  Norm is a professional architect and long-time conservative leader in Michigan going back to the 1960s, Norm

held three positions in the Ronald Reagan administration and is co-author of Michigan’s landmark Tax Limitation Amendment. Many encouraged Norm to run for chair in 2013 but he choose to back Todd Courser at that time.  It was Norm's leadership that almost gave Todd the Chairmanship over Bobby Schostak.

Kimberly Shmina

Kimberly Shmina, serves on the executive committee of the St. Clair County Republican Party and is vice chair of the 10th Congressional District GOP committee. She’s also a certified nurse practitioner with a Doctoral degree and teaches at Wayne State University.

David Wolkinson

David Wolkinson previously worked as Campaign Manger for former 11th District Congressman Kerry Bentivolio before he stepped aside and Barb Bulic of Macomb County took over that campaign.  David also worked as a policy director on Gov. Rick Snyder’s 2010 campaign and ran for state House in 2012, losing in the 40th District GOP primary by roughly 300 votes.  Some believe Wolkinson may be in the race to run interference with Shmina who is running a tough campaign against Romney McDaniel. 

Joel Poynter, is chairman of the Lake County Republican Party. He’s an engineer who contracted with Delphi and worked with Detroit automakers.

Poynter believes the current State Party leadership is not standing strong with the Republican platform.  He also said he thought GOP leaders erred when they asked Republican National Committeeman Dave Agema to resign for controversial anti-gay comments.

“Dave didn’t say anything that really wasn’t part of the platform,” said Poynter, referencing the party’s official stance on gay marriage. “But yet some at the state level really tried to crucify him. I have a problem with that. If it’s in the platform, why are you crucifying this guy?”

Romney family.  She has been described as one that has done everything from fundraising to knocking on doors to making calls to legislators encouraging them to support Right to Work in Michigan.

Right now the two top contenders are Ronna Romney McDaniel and Kimberly Shmina.  It is however anyone's game at this point and as more people get to know Joel Poynter he will climb in the polls.  The biggest game changer will come if Norm Hughes or Tom McMillin decide to jump into the race. 

Polls show gay marriage support slipping in Michigan yet some Republicans are giving up on family values to push the gay agenda

As recent polls show more and more Michiganders are now moving away from supporting gay marriage, the pro-gay marriage side tries to push their agenda through at a rapid pace. 

A brief signed by 25 past and present Republicans is among 31 briefs filed Monday supporting throwing out Michigan’s ban on same sex marriage.

The brief was signed by 15 former members of either the state or U.S. House of Representatives, including former Speaker of the House Rick Johnson, of LeRoy, U.S. Rep. Joe Schwarz, of Battle Creek, and state Rep. Chris Ward of Howell.

It was also signed by Richard McLellan, a well-known constitutional attorney who has advised many Republican politicians, Jennifer Gratz, who led the fight against affirmative action policies at the University of Michigan but now is a permanent resident of Fort Myers Florida and Greg McNeilly, a prominent Republican staffer who was Dick Devos’ right hand man.

that has attacked Dave Agema and other Christian conservatives.  Greg McNeilly was also one of about 300 same sex couples who were married in the hours after U.S. District Judge Bernard Friedman struck down Michigan’s ban on same sex marriage as a violation of the U.S. Constitution’s equal protection clause.

Former state Rep. Leon Drolet, a Macomb County Libertarian leaning Republican also signed the brief.  According to  Macomb Daily Poltical Reporter Chad Selweski , in his Sept 1st 2013 report, and Joel Kurth's editorial in the Detroit News on May 14, 2013 it is noted that  Leon Drolet is known as a gay man..  Leon Drolet said the brief serves two purposes: showing federal judges how prominent Republicans feel about the issue and providing an example for fellow Republicans.  

“Republicans in general and activists who do support equality for gay citizens can feel that they’re not alone out there and they can come out of the closet so to speak in support of equality,” said Drolet, one of three Republicans who voted against the same sex marriage ban in 2004.

The briefs filed Monday in support of throwing out the ban included labor organizations, law professors, and a group of 53 large and small businesses, including Starbucks, Google, Marriott Intl., Oracle, Pfizer and Intel.

They came the same day as the U.S. Court of Appeals scheduled Aug. 6 oral arguments in the case same sex couple April DeBoer and Jayne Rowse filed so they could adopt each others special needs children. The case turned into a trial on Michigan’s ban on same sex marriage, passed by voters in 2004 by a 59-41% margin.

Friedman struck down the ban on March 21 and for a day in Michigan, same sex marriage was legal, allowing 299 couples to marry. State Attorney General Bill Schuette appealed the decision to the U.S. Court of Appeals and asked them to halt the marriages until they could hear the case, which the appeals court did.

Republican primary hopeful for U.S. Senate in 2012. Standing firm against gay marriage could attract blacks, Hispanics and union members to the party, Glenn said in 2013.

Gary is right on this issue and Stacy Swimp a prominent black conservative speaker  and minister agrees.  It was told to this author by Rev Swimp, that blacks in Detroit are fiscally and socially conservative.  The are looking for a political party to listen to them and address their needs. For many years they thought that party was the Democrat party with all the perks they were getting, but now they feel the Democrat party has abandoned  them by abandoning family values.

Just this past March Stacy Swimp and other pastor's reached out to the Michigan Republican Party and to the unproven appointed RNC State Director of African American Engagement for Michigan but there was not one reply to their repeated requests for help keep marriage between a man and woman.

The Republican Establishment would rather sell out the party's values just to remain in power.
